Master Data Responsible to a Global Technology and Packaging Company

Based in Lund, Sweden, this assignment runs from May 18, 2026, to March 18, 2027, with approximately 25% remote flexibility. You’ll play an essential part in ensuring high-quality master data for purchased components in a global environment.
About the Role
As a Technical Administrator / Master Data Responsible, you will support a global master data team focused on purchased components. Your primary responsibility is to manage and create material master data in SAP, ensuring correct classification and detailed specifications. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, contributing to structured processes and data accuracy across the organization.
Responsibilities
Receive and manage requests for material master creation through a global request tool
Classify materials using appropriate UNSPSC codes
Collect and validate technical data such as dimensions, capacity, voltage, and weight
Research component information through datasheets, supplier websites, and direct contact
Ensure high data accuracy and consistency within SAP
Support ongoing improvements of master data processes
Collaborate with global teams to align standards and practices
About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical interest, particularly in components related to food processing or similar industries. Your ability to analyze, structure, and validate information makes you well-suited for working with complex datasets. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are motivated by contributing to efficient and accurate processes over a longer-term assignment.
Experience and Skills
Solid technical understanding of industrial or food processing components
Experience within Master Data Management
Hands-on experience working with global business IT systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience working in SAP
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Structured approach with a focus on continuous improvement

For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta.
