Step into a pivotal role driving digital innovation within the finance domain for a global industrial engineering organisation. This assignment is based in Stockholm, starting ASAP, until October 31, 2026, with a full-time setup and up to 40% remote work. You will lead high-impact AI initiatives that transform financial processes and deliver measurable business value.

About the role

As a Senior Product Owner / Digital Lead, you will operate at the intersection of business and technology, accelerating digital transformation within Finance. You will collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and platform specialists to identify opportunities, define solutions, and ensure successful delivery. The role includes ownership of digital initiatives, from ideation through implementation, with a strong focus on value creation and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and digital initiatives from strategy and concept through to implementation and scaling

• Facilitate AI opportunity discovery workshops and define a prioritized, value-driven backlog

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable product and solution requirements

• Guide cross-functional teams in delivering solutions aligned with business objectives

• Oversee and optimize the finance application portfolio and its lifecycle

• Ensure alignment with existing platforms, data architecture, and governance frameworks

• Drive change management efforts to support adoption and long-term value realization

• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to senior stakeholders

About you

You are a senior professional with a strong track record of leading complex digital initiatives in large organizations. Your experience within finance gives you a solid understanding of processes and challenges, allowing you to identify meaningful opportunities for transformation. You are comfortable navigating both strategic discussions and hands-on delivery, and you thrive in environments where collaboration across business and IT is essential.

Experience and skills

• Extensive experience as a Senior Product Owner, Digital Lead, or similar role

• Strong understanding of finance processes and digital transformation initiatives

• Proven experience working with AI/ML use cases, data analytics, and cloud technologies

• Solid background in Agile methodologies, with relevant certifications and practical experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across business and IT domains

• Experience leading large-scale, complex initiatives with measurable outcomes

• Excellent communication skills and a structured, value-oriented mindset

• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
