In the role you will have the following responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management:
Engage senior leaders and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal/Privacy, and external partners to drive alignment and secure buy in. Act as the primary bridge between commercial teams, Tech/Data teams, and vendors to ensure that activation use cases and broader commercial goals remain tightly aligned. Maintain strong communication and expectation management with executive sponsors.
Project Planning & Governance:
Develop and manage commercial project plans, reporting, and steering routines. Establish fit for purpose governance for delivering customer activation capabilities at scale. Own the end to end delivery of activation use cases from the agreed scope, ensuring they progress through requirements, design, build, testing, launch, and measurement.
Benefit, Budget & Resource Management:
Lead value realization for all activation initiatives. Define clear value hypotheses, KPIs, and success metrics for each use case and track commercial impact, such as revenue uplift, conversion improvements, retention gains, and engagement outcomes. Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting to program sponsors and steering committees.
Workstream Coordination:
Orchestrate multiple commercial and technical workstreams—spanning marketing activation, CRM, analytics, segmentation, channel operations, and external partners. Manage interdependencies, the commercial critical path, and ensure timely delivery of audience strategies, segment builds, and activation flows.
Vendor & Partner Management:
Coordinate with technology vendors, marketing agencies, system integrators, and strategic partners, working closely with Sourcing/Procurement. Manage contracts, SOWs, delivery milestones, and best practice configuration of platforms used for activation. Drive issue resolution across cross functional delivery teams.
Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify and mitigate commercial, operational, and technical risks—such as data gaps, integration challenges, audience readiness, channel constraints, or vendor performance. Maintain mitigation plans, escalate when needed, and safeguard delivery of commercial outcomes.
Change Management & Enablement:
Partner with commercial leaders to prepare Sales, Marketing, and channel teams for new activation capabilities. Train business users to self serve in creating and launching use cases, and lead adoption planning, training, and operational handover. Prepare a structured transition plan to internal owners at the end of the engagement to ensure long term business ownership and capability maturity.
Quality Assurance & Hands-On Delivery:
Ensure deliverables meet commercial requirements, compliance standards, and performance benchmarks. Own hands on elements such as user acceptance testing of activation flows, validation of audiences and sync strategies, and oversight of platform configuration. Coordinate readiness and go-live activities to ensure smooth, high-quality deployment.
Future Activation Roadmap Ownership:
Define and evolve the activation layer roadmap beyond the initial project scope, prioritizing new use cases based on commercial value, complexity, data readiness, and strategic impact. Continuously optimize audiences, segmentation logic, orchestration flows, and activation strategies to maximize business value
Qualifications:
Proven commercial delivery experience with customer data and activation platforms
Demonstrated success leading CDP driven commercial initiatives, building and prioritizing activation use cases, and delivering marketing automation or CRM programs. Experience should show measurable commercial impact across the Nordic markets.
Strong commercial understanding of customer data and activation fundamentals
Deep knowledge of concepts such as identity resolution, customer segmentation, audience activation, omni channel personalization, customer journeys, and privacy/consent management—applied in ways that drive revenue, engagement, and retention.
Exceptional stakeholder management across commercial and technical teams
Ability to operate confidently between business stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, E commerce, Customer Service) and technical teams (Data, Engineering, IT) to translate commercial needs into actionable technical requirements. Comfortable presenting to senior executives and driving alignment across diverse audiences.
Strong facilitation, leadership, and change management skills
A natural leader who can guide cross functional teams, facilitate workshops, drive decision making, and lead organizations through new commercial capability adoption.
Solid grasp of project governance with the ability to manage hybrid commercial–technical delivery
Experienced in applying project and agile governance frameworks in complex environments, ensuring commercial objectives remain front and center while collaborating closely with technical delivery teams.
10+ years of experience leading complex, cross functional commercial programs
Background in B2C industries managing transformation initiatives that sit at the intersection of customer experience, data, digital marketing, and technology.
Experienced in managing multivendor ecosystems
Ability to coordinate system integrators, Martech vendors, agencies, and specialist partners to deliver high quality, commercially impactful outcomes.
About the assignment
For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta. We offer our consultants a generous package including healthcare allowance, insurance policy, paid vacation days and pension savings. In addition, you'll also have a dedicated consultant manager available throughout your employment with us, in addition to optional networking activities with our network of consultants.
The assignment is full-time with start as soon as possible until 2026-10-31.
