As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be part of an international team collaborating across Sweden and Brazil, working in a dynamic and innovation-driven environment.

This full-time role is based in Gothenburg and is from May 2025 through December 2025, with a possible extension.

About the role

You will play a key role in designing and implementing data engineering solutions that support quality and warranty analytics. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll translate analytical needs into technical architecture and data pipelines. You'll report to the BI & Analytics team lead and collaborate across global data teams to ensure seamless data integration and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into scalable data engineering solutions

-Design and implement robust data pipelines for data processing and transformation

- Configure and manage Azure DevOps environments including CI/CD pipelines, releases, and hotfixes

- Develop in Databricks using SQL, Python, and PySpark for data processing

- Work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks workflows, and cluster management

- Model data structures that support business intelligence and reporting use cases

- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and global collaboration initiatives

- Contribute to multiple parallel projects, ensuring high code quality and transparency

About you

You are an experienced data engineer with a solid foundation in cloud-based data solutions, ideally within BI and analytics environments. You're comfortable owning end-to-end pipelines and working independently while actively contributing to a team. Your ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities will be essential to thrive in this role. You bring a hands-on mindset, are proactive in knowledge sharing, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, global team setup.

Experience and skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering roles

- Proven experience building data pipelines and transforming large datasets

- Strong hands-on experience setting up and managing Azure DevOps environments

- Proficiency in Databricks, including workflows and cluster configuration

- Coding expertise in SQL, Python, and PySpark

- Experience with Azure Data Factory and scripting (Shell Scripts)

- Minimum 3 years working in BI projects with strong data modeling and business understanding

- Comfortable using Git and working in agile teams

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

- Must be able to work on-site in Gothenburg

Bonus skills

- Experience with Power BI

- Background in automation or DevOps process optimization

- Passion for mentoring and upskilling peers through hands-on sessions
