Join an exciting assignment within the aviation industry, where you'll take on a key role in managing and optimizing onboard supply chain processes. This full-time opportunity is based at the client’s head office in Solna (Stockholm) and runs from October 26, 2025, to April 30, 2026.
About the role:
As Onboard Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be part of a dedicated Onboard Team responsible for the inflight customer experience, operations control, onboard logistics, and aircraft interiors. Your core responsibility is to ensure a seamless supply chain from product decision through to delivery at catering stations. You’ll operate in a dynamic, change-driven environment with strong emphasis on cost-efficiency and sustainability. You report to the Head of Onboard Products and Operational Excellence, and the role includes occasional business travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage 4PL and 3PL providers
- Continuously optimize the entire onboard supply chain in collaboration with suppliers
- Ensure accurate forecasts and drive supplier engagement
- Communicate product decisions and updates across relevant teams
- Minimize waste across all onboard operations
- Participate in supplier negotiations
- Act as a proactive enabler and problem-solver
About you:
You bring solid experience in complex supply chain operations and thrive in fast-paced, international environments. With strong analytical skills and a structured approach, you’re confident managing both strategic and operational challenges. Your proactive mindset and ability to get things done make you an essential part of any high-performing team.
Experience and skills:
- At least 5 years’ experience in complex supply chain roles, ideally in an international context
- Proven ability to lead independently in evolving environments
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
About the assignment
For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta.
