UX/UI Designer at a Global Manufacturing Company

We're looking for a creative and analytical UX/UI Designer for an exciting consultancy assignment for a global manufacturing company with offices in both Gothenburg and Stockholm. The assignment runs from October 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, on a full-time basis (100%), with a location in either Gothenburg or Stockholm.
About the Role
As a UX Designer, you will be a key player in the development of the company's internal portal, which is used by all three divisions. The role involves close collaboration with the UX Lead, other designers, and the product team to ensure the user experience meets both business goals and user needs. You will work with both strategic and operational design tasks, contribute user insights, and be responsible for maintaining high quality in deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Drive UX work in ongoing initiatives and feature development.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests.
- Analyze user behavior, pain points, and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and further develop user flows in Figma based on the existing design system.
- Ensure solutions are accessible and follow established design principles.
- Translate business and user needs into intuitive and accessible design solutions.
- Clearly communicate design decisions and manage expectations from various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers during implementation and follow up on results against defined KPIs.
- Participate in workshops, design reviews, and sprint planning.
- Document design decisions and maintain design artifacts in Confluence.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating high-quality user experiences and has the ability to switch between strategic work and detailed design. You thrive in a role with many points of contact, are communicative, and can clearly explain your design choices.
Experience and Skills
- Documented experience working with both UX and UI.
- Very good familiarity with Figma and design systems.
- Experience in planning and conducting user research and testing.
- Ability to analyze user data and translate insights into design solutions.
- Good understanding of accessibility requirements and UX best practices.
- Strong communication skills and experience managing stakeholders.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
