As Head of Performance Marketing, you’ll play a key role in setting the traffic acquisition strategy across channels and markets, while leading and shaping a growing international team. The role is based in Copenhagen/Malmö.
About the role
Your main focus will be to lead, coach, and further develop a high-performing acquisition team. You will report directly to the company’s e-commerce director and be part of the e-commerce team. In this role, you will work both strategically and operationally within performance marketing, collaborating closely with colleagues across content, tech, and operations. You’ll be responsible for a multi-million euro performance budget across 20+ markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate traffic acquisition across paid search, paid social, SEO, and affiliate channels
- Optimize the media mix and performance budgets across markets and channels.
- Coaching and leading colleagues, and ensuring that they stay at the forefront of performance marketing.
- Translate business goals into actionable growth and channel plans.
- Identify new channels, formats, and funnel strategies to test and scale.
- Stay hands-on in tools such as Meta Ads Manager, SEO tools, CDP's and analytics platforms.
- Help evaluate and implement scalable ad tech and campaign automation tools.
- Closely monitor and analyze performance, incrementality, and ROI
About you
You’re someone who loves performance, e-commerce, data and has a test-and-learn mindset. You enjoy empowering others while staying close to the performance details. You have a bias for action, don’t wait for permission to test something new, and thrive in scale-up environments where structure is still being built.
Experience and skills
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce or performance marketing.
- Strong understanding of Google Ads, SEO, paid social, affiliates and analytics tools.
- Experience in team management or a strong readiness to step into a leadership role.
- Comfortable with hybrid work, but able to spend more than 50% of your time in the Copenhagen office.
- Analytical mindset, strong prioritization skills, and deep curiosity.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred experience
- Knowledge of Polish, French or German is a big plus.
- Knowledge of attribution models.
