We’re looking for a dedicated Accountant with a strong grasp of group consolidation to support the finance team of a well-established company in the retail industry. If you thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy working in international finance settings, this could be the perfect match.

This full-time consulting assignment runs from 1st of April to 30th of September 2025 with up to 20% remote work flexibility.

About the role

In this role, you’ll support the Financial Group Consolidation team, contributing to core reporting processes and month-end close activities. You'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and report to the team lead for group finance and consolidation. The role is suited for someone with 3–5 years of relevant experience and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

- Support monthly and year-end group consolidation and reporting processes

- Assist with IFRS-compliant adjustments, including eliminations and lease accounting (IFRS 16)

- Validate and map data from subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and consistency

- Troubleshoot discrepancies and support reporting accuracy across entities

- Collaborate with internal teams during the closing calendar to meet deadlines

- Leverage Excel and consolidation tools to streamline financial reporting

- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and documentation efforts

About you

You bring a mid-level finance background with hands-on experience in group consolidation, ideally from a multinational or group-level context. Your analytical mindset, combined with strong Excel skills, allows you to navigate complexity with ease. You're comfortable working both independently and in collaboration with wider finance and business teams, and you thrive in dynamic environments where deadlines matter.

Experience and skills

- 3–5 years of experience in group consolidation and reporting

- Solid understanding of IFRS, including group eliminations and IFRS 16

- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes

- Skilled in Excel with strong data validation and analytical capabilities

- Experience with SAP or UNIT4 Consolidation is a plus

- Detail-oriented and able to troubleshoot reporting discrepancies effectively

- Fluent in both Swedish and English (required)

- Ability to work 80% onsite in Stockholm, Marievik
